The monthly Books into Film series – a look at classic films adapted from equally classic novels – resumes Thursday January 12, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Billy Wilder’s 1944 film version of James Cain’s “Double Indemnity” will be shown in the second floor lounge of the University Center. Fred MacMurry and Barbara Stanwyck star. Dr. Elliott Hammer, chair of the Psychology Department, will be presenting the film and as always admission is free. Pizza and drinks will be provided! Prizes will be awarded.
